Hare Krishna.
Thank you for dropping by and checking out the site. This purpose of this site is clearly explained in the URL/title, “Sankirtan Sanga”, namely a place for persons with some interest in sankirtan (book distribution/congregational chanting) to associate with one another. This blog is dedicated to discussing topics regarding propagating this Hare Krishna movement far and wide under the benevolent guidance of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami and his beloved disciples who have become our spiritual masters. Every one is welcome to join and post realizations, strategies, struggles, stories, questions, quotes, pictures, videos, etc….relating to Sankirtan in its many varieties…sastra sankirtan (book distribution), harinama sankirtan (congregational chanting of the holy names), etc. Our hope in creating this site is to inspire one another in our own spiritual practice, so that in turn we will be inspired to share our practice with others. As Ramesvara Prabhu most expertly explained it:
“Books are the basis, preaching is the essence, purity is the force and utility is the principle.

Sankirtana Yajna ki jaya!!!!
[...] That being said, I would like to humbly invite everyone to participate in this project in whatever way you are inspired to. Even if its with a story of how you were inspired by a sankirtan devotee or how you came to Krishna consciousness because of the devotees chanting, distributing books etc or even how Srila Prabhupada’s books inspire you. The more we discuss topics revolving around sankirtan, the more we will be inclined to take part in these activities. So once again I urge you to please visit Sankirtan Sanga and join the community as one of its authors. The specifics of how to do this are listed under the picture of Lord Caitanya’s sankirtan party in a link that reads “Param Vijayate Sri Krishna Sankirtan“. [...]
